When landing on go to jail tile just go to jail
Don’t look at the cards while shuffling
When landing on go back tile just go back
When getting on a blue and red card don’t look at the answer key until you finish the problems
If you get it wrong you add a hour if you get it right you lose a hour
After everybody is out of the school whoever has the least hours wins
How to play: 24 hours
Pick a game piece and put it on the start tile (the game piece is the fluffy cap )
Roll the dice and whoever has the biggest number goes first
Roll the dice and move as many spaces as it tells you to
Read the space and do what it tells you to do (if you land on a lose a turn it’s the next persons turn when it’s their turn again the next person will go ) ( when you land on a blank tile you just stay there )
If you land on a blue and red tile pick up a blue and red card (work out the problem on the white board provided )
Try not to get the problems wrong so you don’t have to add a hour

How to win: By solving multiplication problems and getting them right and getting out of the school with the least hours
Objective: Escape the school successfully with the least hours
How to escape: Get all the multiplication problems right and get out of the school with the least hours
The winner is the person with the least amount of hours after everybody is out of the school
Steps to solve the math
It’s better to draw an area model
Ex: 14 x 19
An area model is a square and you divide it into 4 squares.
Then decompose the numbers into 10 and 9 and 10 and 4.
Put one of the tens at the top in the left then put the other ten on the left side at the top.
Then put the 4 at the top on the right then put the 9 at the bottom on the left side.
Then multiply 10 x 10 =100 then 10 x 4 =40 then 10 x 9 = 90 then 4 x 9 = 36 which = 266.
Decompose means to break apart a number in to the tens and ones.
