Bridgemill Tennis Courts
Activity: I went up to the tennis courts today and observed not just my facilitator but the other coaches that were at the academy. Today I watched the high school group practice.
Commentary: Today was very helpful because I got even more ideas for some of my lesson plans as far as far as drills. I also got to understand perspectives from the other coaches as well as my facilitator. Also, the goal of today’s lesson was hitting deep balls in the court.

Activity: I spent today observing my facilitator and the other coaches as they had academy with the younger age group.
Commentary: Today was successful because I go to pay attention to how all of the coaches worked with the younger age group. I took some notes on what the coaches were wanting the kids to focus on. The goal for today was to construct points in order to get into winning position on the court.

Activity: Today was the last day that I spent observing my facilitator at her academy. I spent most of the time writing down what the lesson consisted of but today my facilitator let me feed some balls and give a few pointers to the kids.
Commentary: Today was a big step for me as I got to feed some balls to some of the kids. The goal of the lesson for today was working on doubles and singles point play. I now have a good basis for starting out my lesson plans.
