THE MOST REPRESENTATIVE AIRPLANES DURING SECOND WORLD WAR
THE SECOND WORLD WAR was for many people “the most important event in the 20th century because in addition to many historical events also left us amazing technological advances talking about aviation, in the most relevant events always were involved airplanes and for this in this article I will name some important events and obviously their protagonist that in this article are airplanes, to sum up the airplanes were momentous during the war and it is necessary know their offensive amazing power.
Talking about major air strikes I must name” the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor naval base” on the morning of December 7, 1941. The attack led to the United States' entry into World War II, where the Japanese with fighter planes, bombers and torpedo planes won this battle. The fighter planes were Mitsubishi A6M Zero-Sen, the bombers were Aichi D3A and the torpedo planes were Nakajima B5N. In conclusion these airplanes were very relevant in one of the most important air-naval battle.
The Battle of Britain (10 July – 31 October 1940) was one of the most important battles during the Second World War, It is described as the first major campaign fought entirely by air forces. After the RFA (Royal Air Force) managed to win this important battle the Allies decided to choose Britain as a base to invade Europe, focusing mainly on aircraft we talk about the most important in the defense of England who were the Hawker Hurricane and Supermarine Spitfire. However, the German side that had the subtle Messerschmitt Bf 109 despite this were the British who emerged victorious from this battle greatly defeating the German forces.
The bombardment of Japan with the atomic bomb by the United States was one of the events that surprised and more impact on the world because of its immense destructive power, however it is an important fact that we could not leave out because he has an antagonist, the Boeing B-29 Superfortress was the plane that carried and dropped the two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. To summarize we can say that war is the worst thing but despite this significant progress was made in military aviation.
the second world war brought large military developments mainly talking about military aviation where due to its need to conquer or defend certain countries or territories this promoted the development of jet engines, the Service ceiling was increased and incredibly The Allies discovered a Nazi plane the Horten Ho-IX which was able to reduce its visibility against the British radars thanks to its manufacturing mainly wood and coal. The war despite its large number of casualties left us radars and technological progress, to sum up the world is too big to be dominated by a conqueror.
