Today we met and ate a quick meal after she got off from work. We discussed how we were going to set up the rest of our meet ups. We decided to find somewhere with WiFi which was my house. I brought out my laptop and she discussed with me the content we could put on my YouTube channel for my product. We talked about the theme to use throughout the channel that would give it a very authentic and professional feel. We discussed the overall length of the video and how the set up would be. We ended the meet with a hug and goodbye after discussing what we would do next time we meet.
I thought that accumulating hours was going to be a lot harder to do than it was this time around. The meetup and her visit to my house added up quickly. I did not realize how long it takes to navigate through YouTube and create a channel. There is way more to it than just downloading a video with a click of a button these days. There are so many different options to chose from and it is hard to decide what is best. It is not that I wanted to breeze through this project on only the required 15 hours but with my schedule and my facilitators schedule being very tight the time to do this work is going to be hard to find.

Today we both learned how to edit a video through "I Movie" on my MacBook. We did not have the time to film a video ourselves and work on it however we did take several pictures I had on my laptop of my family and made a small movie out of it to get down the basics of doing it as I'm going to need to be good at it for my channel on Youtube. We discussed if we wanted to do any music or dramatic or intro to each video. We created a folder to store my videos in. We also purchased a USB drive.
Editing is not easy and I give credit to those people who make millions of dollars off it. Filming is going to be more difficult than I thought without buying a very expensive camera. Uploading the video to my laptop and onto Youtube is going to take some hours so they will be easy hours to pick up for my product log. However, I do wonder if that will actually count toward my 15 hours but it will have to be something to discuss with my teacher. My product continues to increase in difficulty as I go forward.
