Activity: My project facilitator Chris Evans brainstormed with me on what to make and what could be a bit difficult and perfect for what people use in their everyday life and me to make and would some time need. We decided on a coffee table.
Commentary: Starting on the coffee table required the tools needed to make it and its measurements as well were hard so I could make them even and make sure they were not off.
Time Spent: 3 Hours

Activity: I began cutting the wood with a saw and if they were not even I made sure to use a wood shaver. After I have cut the wood pieces, I made sure they were even cuts and then begin nailing them together.
Commentary: I first started the measurements and my facilitator help me with he also explained several things I would need to be careful of not doing and doing. It was consuming doing all the measurements and making sure all the pieces were even to each other, I was also a bit scared of the saw but I dealt with it. I was also afraid of the nail gun but I made sure nothing that was on me was not on the wood.

Activity: We met up one last time and he suggested I sand down the whole table so it was not rough or had splinters on it. Therefore, I sanded down every spot on the table so it would look clean and smooth. He also suggested I should stain it and after paint the tabletop and the little table under as well a color that would match the Apollo brown.
Commentary: It was really long and hard getting every spot of the table and there was so many sawdust and painful getting it in my eyes but after I was done with the table and washing my eyes out, I started staining the whole table a nice Apollo brown and then painted the tabletop a moss color.
Time Spent:5 Hours
