You do not have to be your Liveacy…
We always want to be the best. We strive for self and for onlooker’s praise. At the end of our journey called LIFE, we all have a final product. Our Legacy. The other side to that coin is our Liveacy. Most forget about this all important hodge podge of accomplishments and failures. The key word that most of us set aside like old shoes and clothes is failure. I am writing this letter to you as a promise. A promise that I will use this opportunity to pay it forward. The opportunity to teach others success through my failures. Give young men advice that could save them from the one constant in life……TIME. You see I wasted more time trying to perfect imperfections that would ultimately lead me way off the path. I have been the fabled Papa was a Rolling Stone. I am very proud of my children and their mothers. They are all successful and have a knack at not ever giving up. Somehow I hope it has a little bit to do with me, but that is just wishful thinking. I have been a Saint. A Criminal. A Hustler. A Leader. A Veteran. A Musician. An Athlete. A Confused Individual. A Selfish Man. A Selfless Man. A Father. And lastly the most important part of my journey. A Loving Husband. My Wife saved my life and my Higher Power has a reason to bring me to this point. I can tell you right now my past is not one I am truly proud of. I have baggage, failed opportunities, and lost time. I am at the point in life that Father Time is in a Venom GT doing 133mph every he drives to meet Mr. Cooper. I’m here because I recognize that along with time comes advancement. Mix in every evolving tech world and the genius of youth…. I will not allow myself or family to be left behind. I am meant to do something great, but I say that in the humblest demeanor. What is it you ask? I have no idea, but I guarantee you that when I start doing it, along with the great people around me. We will create something that will optimize the world. That is success for me.
My Legacy: A man that did the impossible he held off Father Time to do something absolutely GREAT!
