I’m hoping this document will act as a “bible” for you, give you some tips and answer some of the many questions I’m sure you will have.
Remember this is a journey, nobody expects you to be an expert from day one. I still learn something new every single day!
Getting Started: Find your “Why”
This is really, really important!
What was your reason for beginning your Juice Plus Journey? Why now? Who introduced you? How has the product made an impact on your life and what are your goals?
You need to have a real reason for embarking on this journey and a goal to reach. It is what will keep you going when you’re faced with challenges, inspire you to aim higher and help you to remain focused and centred.
Next: Your Product Story
Your experience on the product and sharing your journey to better health is what will draw people in, they will be inspired by your story and look to achieve the same for themselves, your role is to help them fulfil their goal with your guidance and support.
You don’t need to ram your experiences down people’s throats, nor do you want to give too much away
The LESS you mention on social media or in person the words ‘Juice Plus’ the more people are going to want to know what it is that you are doing.
Katie Fielding came up with a company name ‘TheSkinnyRules’ to intrigue people; it builds curiosity and encourages them to want to know more.
Share your day…not only via social media but with the people you meet, work colleagues, family friends. Tell them about your lifestyle change and how it is making you feel.
Create a BUZZ
You will start to see changes, both physically and mentally. Share them and offer to help others to do the same (
Tip: Create a Vision Board – Set your goals and time frames and save it somewhere that you can see it every day and remind yourself to keep going!
Next Steps: Building Your Business
Create a list of anyone you’ve ever known, spoke to, made friends with- people from primary school, high school, college, university, first job, all the jobs you’ve had, the girl that serves you all the time at the local shop, your hairdresser, beautician. ANYONE. Just write that name down!! You’re not going to pitch them just TALK to them! The only tip that I will give at this stage is set a standard and stick to it. Do you want to help these people, do you like them, can you imagine working closely with them and do you feel that they will give back as much as you would put in.
If the answer is YES. Find out their need, and offer them an opportunity.
Me: Hi Sarah, hows work? All going well?Sarah: Hey, yeah its going ok just sick of the shiftsMe: Aww really? Are you not enjoying your job?Sarah: No, I need to find something elseMe: Oh cool, tell you what I might have something for you/Can help youSarah: Really? What is it?Me: Ill send you a message, or if you want we can meet for a coffee? Ive gotta go ill call you soonSarah: Really? Sounds goodI didn’t mention Juice Plus once I just offered a potential solution to her job problem. If she says no, so what? On to the next!!
But if you managed to spark her interest…
Go and meet her! Catch up, find your common ground then talk about her job situation, empathise, find her why…. This will inspire you to want to help her! Now its time to open her eyes to the solutions! Introduce the product and then talk about how the product lead to a business opportunity for yourself, how you dived in, and how it changed your life.
So what’s next? You’ve generated interest in the product, you have shared your story, you have started to build a client base, you have interest from some potential team members into the huge opportunity behind it all…
It’s time to build your business!
We all begin as “dealers” in this business. Obviously as you grow your franchise you will want to work towards certain milestones.
DLR-SDD (Dealer to Senior Direct Distributor)
You need:3250 Volume in one calendar month (RVC- Required for title/ What you need to get to your next position)
Can be made up easily:
Shakes: 135 volumePremium Capsules: 200 volume
25 Shake Customers (or could be) 17 Premium Capsule customer - you can also do a mixture of each product you just need to calculate the points manually to see when you’ve hit target.
You can do this solo (which is harder) or you can do this with a team (MUCH easier). With the tips above and below is going to build you momentum to recruit a team…
This is how:
RVC – 3250 = SDD
825 Volume 825 Volume
As you can see with a team it’s easier to achieve the 3200 when it’s a joint effort. Now you help your team get to SDD too. More people you help the better your business gets. You’ve now got some movement so now to build on it. Keep repeating this, obviously sponsoring new people in and helping your team reach SDD. This is your main priority, and with helping your team reach their goals, through duplicating the same theory used by yourself, your business will grow in a steady, organic and stable pace. EASY!
Set yourself a 90 Day Game Plan to get to SSC, this is your goal. So for 90 days you are going to hit this target by having 1:1 meetings, talking to the people on your list, and people anywhere really, then holding mini events. EVENTS build your business.
90 DAYS REPEAT THIS SYSTEM EVERY MONTH:
BUILD A RELATIONSHIP
Chatting to the initial prospect, this could take months or even years but you have to build a relationship with this person, find out their why’s and their life so you can help them. Be patient wait until you find the hook to give the solution
1:1 MEETING (Meeting with Sarah as I spoke of above)
Like I did with Sarah I met up with her to chat more, I gave her some of the product to use/try and start her journey and story to share with people. I then go through the Napkin presentation, my lifestyle, what journey I am on to excite her.
IN-HOME/COOL BAR/COFFEE SHOP MEETING
Now Sarah is in the business after our 1:1 she is excited and dying to tell all those who are close to her what she has discovered. Again just TALKING to her people she organises a meeting and invites them all round to a cool location to tell them all her new venture. The more people she TALKS to the more people you will get coming. Ask 20 get 8 people attending, Ask 10, 4 people will attend. Its all a numbers game. So she invites 10 of her friends and 4 people turn up. If its at her house put out some product samples, food/nibbles and drink (can be alcohol, people love a good glass of wine especially us girlies together. Guys business, burgers and beer always goes down well).
As Sarah’s sponsor I attend her meeting and do exactly what I did when I had the 1:1 meeting with her.. just repeating the system. Showing the business videos at meetings is always good to close it off.
Guess what all those 4 people love the product and the business and what to get involved (doesn’t matter if they don’t atleast they now know what Juice Plus is or what your upto, they will come round eventually).
With each of those 4 people you repeat the same process with them from 2) onwards. Find out their why and what they want from life.
I will go hold Sarah’s hand to help her with her first two in home meetings with her team then leave her upto it with the other 2. Helps her become independent from day one and confident to running meetings/events.
MINI EVENT (10-50 PEOPLE)
Sarah and her 4 people have all done their own in home meeting, now them 4 have their 4.. its now the time to all team together (area depending) and put on a Mini event. Who’s ever area its in they should host and talk about the product (by now they should be pretty confident), Sarah will go through the business now being confident and myself will close the meeting and give my testimonial. Again same script as ANY OTHER meeting. The Napkin Presentation. Every time. If you don’t know it – Learn it! From the book The 45 sec Presentation also available on audio cd (great for learning whilst driving everywhere).
Mini Event is a grea way to come together as a team, share success, share the opportunities to prospects and also show the bigger picture. Much more powerful having a room full of people than a 1:1. At this event have GOOD, SEMI LOUD music playing so people walking past wonder whats going on. Have out the product on the table. All you need is yourself and a flip chart/white board.
Now your business has really built up momentum usually every 2-3 months a regional will be somewhere. I know sometimes its difficult getting places having a family, commitments etc but there is no excuse in my eyes. The regional’s are in plenty of time/advance so you can plan/save/make arrangements to be there. I have a couple in my business that’s committed to driving from South Wales to Bury, Grt Manchester to a Mini Event every 2 weeks to learn how to do them!! They bring the kids, it’s an 8hr round trip. Usually Regionals are in Bolton or Reading so pretty much either end of the country.
Why go? Knowledge is power. I would not know what I know today with out going to events. Feed the brain with knowledge to help people, help more people the better your business is and your income. Make it a practice as part of your “job” to attend these.
There’s a conference call every Monday night to dial in and listen to. It usually lasts half an hour starting at 8:30-9pm (see your sponsor to get the info). Different speakers every week telling their stories and tips. Well worth dialling in and picking up GOLDEN nuggets to implement in your business.
You have to remember this is YOUR business. Your sponsor is there to help you but you must put in the effort too. Feed yourself the knowledge. Attend events, talk to people who are successful in the business. You aren’t going to get far sitting at home.
Its really important you look after your customers, my best distributors came from being customers first. If you don’t have a lot of time to fully assist them we offer a care package where a specialist trained care (call) centre will follow up with your customers, make sure they get their package, deal with any problems. Great if you have a full time job too. See your sponsor for this info.
Social Media Rules and Guidelines:
Please don’t use ‘Juice Plus’ ‘JP’ ‘Juicey’ ‘Juice’ or any other abbreviations you can think of in your name on social media ie. Olivia JuicePlus Measures.This includes Twitter, Tumblr, LinkdIN, Instagram and Like Pages. Yes we know some people do it but ask Are they successful? Probably not! Why? Because they look like a sales robot. People buy into YOU 80% of the time NOT the product. (So be likeable ( talk to your clients how you would like to be spoken to)
Buy & Swap Sites, Selling Pages, Info Pages – Please do not advertise on these. We are a caring and sharing company not a forced sales company. People will come to you of recommendation/word of mouth seeing you on social media you don’t need to advertise.
You don’t have to be an expert. Being myself and sharing my journey attracted more people because I was real. If you are an expert maybe separate your work life from your new venture, be yourself.
Please do not post about earnings, bonuses, the marketing plan, money you’re earning. You attract the wrong sorts of people and actually raising peoples expectations to be disappointed if their earnings aren’t what yours are. – instead say cant believe I was just able to buy myself this… with my juicy pay packet! Could never have done this before juice plus.
DO NOT use peoples before and after pictures without permission. Make sure you TAG (write over it using picframe app displaying your program name or even your own name) your client’s picture. Please conduct yourself professionally on social media,; swearing, drunken slobbish pictures, taking pictures of takeaways etc. You are a product of the product and represent a health company. Yes have fun but don’t need to put it online.
YOU MUST be on the product if you are in the business. Reason being as we talked about previously is people buy into your story not the product. If you have no story you cant advise on the product.
Don’t make medical claims on social media like it cures cancer because it doesn’t. A healthy lifestyle might but we can’t say things like JP will cure it. Use the Skin Studies to advise on about skin care and health using Juice Plus.
