Use antiperspirant Also known as deodorant, antiperspirants use aluminum salts that reduce sweat on your skin. Not only will you stay dry, you’ll smell great as well! 2. Avoid drinking coffee The caffeine in coffee actually excites the nervous system. This in turn makes your body produce more sweat! So drink some good ol’ fashioned water instead! 3. Cool down before a shower The Olympics makes us all want to exercise! But instead of running into a hot shower right after our workout, take some time to cool down your body first. This will keep you drier, longer! 4. No hot sauce Brazilian chili powder? Think again! Similar to the caffeine in coffee, hot sauce excites our brain’s neurotransmitters, which – you guessed it – makes us sweat more! 5. Everything cotton Cotton is lightweight and keeps sweat away! And lighter colors absorb less sunlight, keeping you cool throughout the day. 1. How does drinking coffee affect you? 2. What do you have to do before taking a shower? 3. What does hot sauce do? 1.
