Wouldn’t it be nice if one could choose what roles in life were ours to play from earliest years; before our lives were put on track by those who thought they knew what should be done to keep to keep us on the straight and narrow path.
Without due care for our wishes, hopes, ambitions, for other ways to go: Only for reflected glory gained by our success in worldly terms according to their view of life.
If one is not determined to pursue a special line of thought, one may grow up to be a virtual zombie – always dependent on others to one’s thinking and planning: and with ambitions stifled be just an “also ran”, with not enough credits along the way to prove they could succeed where others failed.
One has to be very strong to stand up for oneself with forceful opinions to succeed in life. The race is for those who can prevail – not for the weak or faint-hearted.
