The Health Maintenance Enhancement is a proactive reminder tool that:
- Generates reminder letters for patients.
- Helps manage the recurring preventive care items that make up patient treatment.
- Presents alerts for preventive services and wellness checks.
- Displays a prompt when a patient chart is opened and has overdue items.
- Flags overdue items for easy viewing.
- Allows rules to be added to a patient either individually or as part of a protocol.

Manage Preventative Care
The SOAPware Health Maintenance Enhancement helps manage recurring preventive care items that comprise patient treatment. You have the ability to develop patient management protocols that can cover a number of health maintenance rules. This makes managing different care plans easy.
Find Your Patients
This enhancement also gives you the ability to search the entire patient database. You may search for all patients who are overdue for a specific procedure, e.g. a mammogram, or any item in a protocol. You can then automatically print reminder letters to be sent to patients, as well as flag their charts to remind you of their needs during their next visit.
